81st ANNIVERSARY of the s.s. tilawa (2023)

Please watch a recording of the first U.K. commemoration of the ill-fated S.S. Tilawa on the 81st anniversary. The event was held at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich UK. 

The commemoration of the forgotten tragedy was Thursday November 23rd 2023 at 6.30pm GMT, by invitation only. For the first time on British soil a full Leopold Muller theater will officially acknowledge the incident, and memorialise the loss of 280 lives.
