Memorializing 280 lost lives

Tilawa1942 presented a full theatre production program for the 83rd anniversary in Leicester, UK! 

For decades, the south asian community of Leicester have had a connection to "The Indian OceansTitanic" forgotten tragedy. There are still 4 known Tilawa survivors, which include Leicester resident, Mr. Gaffer Ayoub Osman in his early 90's. 

The commemoration took place at The Peepul Centre.
